One of the benefit's of living and running in an urban environment are the various obstacles that you encounter that add a a little boost to your training. There's the old dive and roll because you almost go hit by a car that ran the stop sign. That's great for working those fast twitch muscles! Then there's the old "Hey! My car broke down can you give me a push? You look like you're in good shape." This only happens after running at least 9 miles and of course being the strategic trainer that you are you jump right in with a running push. I got a little car pushing boost to my run tonight.
